I found the information on how the film industry censored it self very interesting. I think that they were smart to self censor before the government became involved. It probably saved a lot of time when they later changed over to the current rating system. I also found the film Interesting, I didn’t particularly like all of the drug use portrayed not the film style, however I think that what is important is to analyze why they choose to make the film and what kind of a statement the creators were trying to make. I felt that the abrasive nature and cruelty of the film was demonstrating the frustrating of the rising generation.
