The author offers some insight in to the production crews behavior as well as the attitude the director Dennis Hopper had about the making of the film. Just under the title of the article the author wrote “Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda go back to a time when a kilo of good pot was a budgeted movie expense.”  According to the author the crew and its actors never faked the pot smoking and even had a kilo of pot set aside for the crew. And according to the documentary viewed by the author the only drug that was  fake in the movie was the cocaine at the beginning which was apperently powdered sugar and hurt to snort it according to Peter Fonda. He describes Denis Hopper as the quiet and laid back only speaking up on occasion in contrast to Peter Fonda who showed a lot of enthusiasm about the film.
