Module eight is an introduction to digital editing, I found it interesting to read about how digital editing is just a modern version of the old special effects. I found the quote by Sobchack on page 209 very interesting, and to consider that the special effects could actually be the show piece and that the integration and believability comes from the flow of the story. I think that Star Wars II: Attack of the clones is an extreme example of special effects. In the Episode I bonus features that I reviewed for the course paper Lucas uses digital editing to change where actors are located and even digital splicing different takes to create the scenes he wanted. In attack of the clones one of the most impressive uses of digital imaging is the planet Corescant the planet completely encompassed by a city.

I also was most impressed with the fact that the planet was completely encompassed by a city. I like the info that you used on Lucas and digital splicing.
