I find that I enjoy special effects in films. However I also don’t believe that they don’t make the movie great. These effects and techniques will probably always be a part of film and story telling and while audiences tastes will shift the desire to bigger and better in no going to disappear. I remember what Jurassic Park came out the shift from animatronics and stop motion to the smooth more life like computer generated images was the major selling point of the film. I enjoyed watching attack of the clones while it might not meet some peoples criteria for a blockbuster or a great movie I think of it as a classic and a part of a the great Star Wars saga. I think that it would be difficult to make a film of this scale with out massive amounts of special effects and computer graphics without a massive budget for constructing all of the effects created.
