I definitely have learned many important things about the Film Industry in this class. I will also take with me another perspective of filming and the making of movies. I was close minded before when it was about movie genres that were not my favorite, so I feel that my point of view in that respect has changed a lot. I had no idea the amount of personnel that were behind the making of a movie as well as the amount of people and time that requires bringing a movie out to the public. Characterizations as well as lightning have been some of the many topics that I specially enjoyed learning about.
The combination of viewing, reading and searching on the internet about the different topics we covered during the semester as well as the information that was provided by the other students were definitely and important source of learning that I benefited from.
I never realized how different camera angles are so important when used to show action and control the views perspective; I also didn’t realize how critical lighting was and how that can improve the mode of the story. Actually there are a lot of important elements that I had never noticed as anything special prior to the text and course work.
